Briefly describe the activity you observed:
I observed Berry College's mens and women's final home cross country race of the season, including the warm up, race, and cool down. The event was held at clara bowl on Berry's campus.
List the feedback examples you observed:
The coach used encouraging words, including team mantras such as "Rage On" and "How to go" which encourages the runner and provides feedback for them. Also, teammates are placed throughout the course to yell out time splits which helps the runner to evaluate their performance thus far. Runners are very encouraging towards each other whether they are running the race or in the race. They give verbal support such as "Good job" or "finish strong" to encourage their teammates.
